Evening Light on Parksville Beach

The mainland mountains light up as the sun sets in the west behind the city of Parksville on Vancouver Island, BC. Warm earth tones striate the wide sandy beach as tidal waters inch their way back across the bay. This view includes Lasqueti Island in the mid-distance and Texada Island, to the left, behind it. A meditation on strength and peace.
