Low Tide at Craig Bay

A mirage of sand and sea, Parksville Beach really does go on forever! Twice a day at low tide, soft summer sands stretch for miles across the bay. Tidal pools lazily meander back and forth beckoning all to explore. Follow the seabirds out to the edge but keep two steps ahead as the lazy water is destined to return across the shallows on its perpetual journey. A walker’s delight, a beachcomber’s delight, everyone’s delight!
